Home: Baptisms are a special milestone for babies, and family members love to share their day with him! With all the excitement going on around them, from schedule changes, to lots of handling, many babies tend to become overwhelmed, and may not be their typical smiley self. It is recommended to try to get them napped fed, and changed shortly before my arrival. Additionally, it is recommended to only photograph the baby with the parents and godparents at home. I will, however, act as a “fly on the wall” to capture pictures with additional family members using a candid and lifestyle approach. But don’t worry, all groups of extended family members will be photographed after the ceremony!
Church: Some churches require everyone, including photographers, to be seated for the entire ceremony, except for when at the baptismal fountain. If this is the case, I will choose a seat nearby that will allow me to photograph the baby and your family.
Reception: My goal is for you to look back at your images and feel as if you are still there. During the reception, I will not only photograph each couple, group, and family, I will also act as “a fly on the wall” and capture the guests laughing, drinking, playing. Details such as cake and candy tables, table decor, and any other special touches will be photographed.
Turn Around Time: 2-3 weeks
